We are excited to announce the return of Karate Sportif and Eco-Tennis for our Spring Session! These activities will be held during lunchtime on Mondays or Tuesdays. Complete details can be found below. All profits from this program will go back to the students and school through HAHSA initiatives, visit the FUNDRAISING tab for more details.

Karate Sportif: Grades K to 6
Nothing fosters as much self-confidence as participation in the “Karaté Sportif Program.” In fact, this is what parents of our students say they appreciate the most. After all, who wouldn’t like to know that their child could cope with almost any situation? This is not all. Our students and their parents also tell us that self-confidence makes a huge difference in their relationships with others as well as at school and at home. In addition, they feel in great shape. “Find your inner Black Belt.” The maximum class size is 40 students mixed.

- Mondays at lunchtime: March 27th to May 29th – (no activity on April 10th & May 22nd)
- Session cost for new students: $195.00 – 8 classes
- Session cost for existing Karate Sportif students: $0.00
- Registration must be done through HAHSA After-School not Karate Sportif
- Uniform can be purchased at an additional cost of $60.00 but it is not mandatory
- At the end of the program, there will be a graduation ceremony which takes place at Karate Sportif. The cost of this is $50.00. Karate Sportif will provide details. This is not handled by HAHSA After-School Activities.
Pickleball with Eco-Tennis : Grades K to 6
Also called light tennis, pickleball is often presented as the combination of the elements of tennis, badminton and table tennis. Players learn how to serve, rally, score runs and play net in singles and doubles. Lessons allow players to progress through a series of activities aimed at developing a skill and accelerating learning.
- Tuesdays at lunchtime: March 28th to May 30th – Session cost: $193.00 – 10 classes
- Registration must be done through HAHSA After-School not Eco-Tennis
SESSION AND REGISTRATION INFORMATION
- Registration closes on March 20th
- Activity Time: 12:25pm to 1:20pm
- Students will eat their lunch at 12:25 pm and the activity will follow as soon as they are done.
- Only online registration will be accepted through Amilia registration (how to register).
- Payments can be made by credit card or eCheck.
- Before paying by eCheck, please verify with your bank that they accept eCheck. A 10$ fee will be applied to your account for each eCheck payment that fails or is reversed.
- All parents are required to read and “ACCEPT” our After-School Activities Policies before completing their registration.
- HAHSA After-School will send a reminder email to the parents that the activity will start, but it is the responsibility of the parents to remind their children of their after-school activity. We suggest that the parents do the following:
- Please send a note (physical or electronic) to advise their teacher
- Put a message in your child’s lunch box and agenda
- Please remind your child in the morning that they have an activity
